EBEL is introducing a new advertising creative which will debut this month. With this new creative direction, EBEL approaches a new angle of communication, based on design, precision and emotions to highlight its iconic collection the EBEL Sport Classic. Inspired by EBEL’s historical link with master architect Le Corbusier, EBEL took a closer look this time at his extraordinary paintings.
The new advertising creative features dynamic abstract paintings of the world-renowned pioneer of modern architecture Le Corbusier in a special ambience that highlights the true spirit and timeless beauty of EBEL Sport Classic. EBEL selected some of the most powerful and vibrant paintings of Le Corbusier such as Othello (1938), Annibal Simla (1941) and Totem3 (1961). It is no coincidence that these masterpieces deserved to be premiered at La Villa Turque/ La Maison EBEL –designed by Le Corbusier himself in 1916 in a press event in May. By choosing art for its new advertising support, EBEL opens the door to its essence, as Le Corbusier used to say “Art is open for everybody, whom heart and spirit is prepared for this kind of things”.
