THE MASTERY OF DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY - Twenty years after introducing their emblematic 1911 collection, The Architects of Time present the ultimate Ebel series for men: 1911 BTR. Defined by their boldly contemporary aesthetics, iconic design and sophisticated technical features, these models are powered exclusively by Ebel proprietary COSC-certified mechanical movements. Whether the historical Automatic Chronograph Caliber 137, the new Automatic Chronograph Caliber 139, the new Automatic GMT Caliber 240 or the new Automatic Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Caliber 288: all are developed, assembled and tested in Ebel’s workshops in Switzerland.

Unique design attributesThe often trailblazing watches of EBEL have consistently explored uncharted territory and pioneered new trends. Their personality immediately places them in a league of their own. Witness a number of signature features such as the hexagonal monohull case and the inimitable wave bracelet that wraps itself around the wrist like a second skin. These unique attributes have become the unmistakable hallmarks of fine EBEL craftsmanship. |

Soft, sensual feelThe refined nature of EBEL collections is enriched by know-how handed down from generation to generation that pervades every detail of their conception and finishing. From classic models to gem-set versions, all watches are required to meet stringent quality standards. The jewellery creations magnify femininity by imbuing the cases and dials with an incomparably soft, sensual feel. |

Exceptional watch movementsThe credibility enjoyed by the Architects of Time in the field of mechanical watches is confirmed by the development of exceptional watch movements. In 1995, the self-winding chronograph Calibre 137, chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute) represented the culmination of five years of research and development. Several new mechanisms have followed in its wake: chronograph Calibres 139 and 245, Calibre 240 GMT, and the Calibre 288 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph movement are all developed, assembled and tested in the company workshops in La Chaux-de-Fonds. And symbolically speaking, the very spirit of the brand is summed up in the emblematic oscillating weight shaped like an architect's compass. |
